Gibson Brands, Inc., the world’s premier manufacturer of musical instruments and professional audio equipment is seeking a Dealer Product Specialist to join our team.  Gibson is known world-wide for famous brands such as Gibson, Epiphone, Baldwin, Onkyo, Stanton, Cerwin-Vega, and TEAC.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The DPS will report to the Director, Global Channel Support.  The position will cover territories in Georgia, S. Carolina, N. Carolina and Alabama.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Training dealers and consumer base on existing and new product lines
  • Merchandising products within store to provide maximum exposure and increase sales
  • Providing clinics for consumer base within stores to increase product awareness
  • Building and maintaining rapport with new and existing dealer base
  • Participate in weekly conference calls
  • Create and maintain activity reports
  • Identify and expand distribution channels
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5+ years successful retail experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) preferred, but not required.
  • Strong Musical Instrument / Guitar Knowledge is mandatory
  • Position will involve 100% travel.
  • Candidates must already be located in the Southeast Region (Georgia, S. Carolina, North Carolina and Alabama) as relocation is not offered.
