Technical Support Analyst

Job Location: Nashville, TN


Gibson Guitar Corp, the world’s premier musical instrument manufacturer and the home of such preeminent brands as Gibson, Epiphone, Baldwin and Wurlitzer, is looking for a Technical Support Analyst to join the Information Technology team. This position will be located in beautiful Nashville, TN.


The Technical Support Analyst reviews, analyzes, repairs, performs builds and evaluates Information Technology systems. Participates as part of the IT Help Desk team: answering support tickets and escalating as needed. Participates in IT Technical team projects. Reports to Manager of Data Center Operations.


  • Participates in Help Desk functions: answering trouble tickets, allocating tickets to other IT staff as needed, oversees trouble ticket life cycle.
  • Will have daily responsibilities and accountabilities as required from IT management.
  • Performs PC/Server builds, repairs and participates in overall system monitoring.
  • Participates in small project teams to develop and implement innovative solutions to business problems/processes.
  • Provides technical assistance to users working towards the resolution of operational problems.
  • Creates and maintains accurate system documentation and reports.
  • Collaborates with other IT staff company-wide to identify, analyze, and devise solutions to meet business needs.
  • Prioritizes inquiries and requests from end users.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Associates Degree in Computer Science or related technical training.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in related field.
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience with computer hardware, software and various operating systems. Has knowledge and experience with Active Directory.
