Today I’m going to talk about combining harmonics with certain chord positions. Harmonics can be found all over the guitar, and it’s something u should experiment with when you have time.
Now some harmonics are pretty obvious like the E9 at the 7th fret and I use my pinky to create the harmonic. You slide up to the 12th fret and you get the A9.
So if u take that idea you’ll see that you can substitute harmonics anywhere. When I play ‘Ode to Billy Joe,” I like to use a lot of harmonics and then hammering on to my Major Third.
Every time I play I think I find some new ones, so keep experimenting with harmonics and chords and I’ll be back next week.
