Come As You Are
Brandon Trapp from MusikWorks Studios teaches the grungy Nirvana tune, “Come As You Are.”

“Come As You Are” was featured as the second single off Nevermind and was their second top 40 single. The band was able to record the song quickly because Cobain recorded his guitar solo in two takes, and it only took three takes of vocals, of which the first was used. Rolling Stone named it at #445 on its "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time" list.

Brandon plays a Gibson USA Les Paul Classic in this lesson.

Brandon Trapp
In the 7th grade Brandon got his first real guitar. After learning a few chords he found a 50's and 60's songbook lying around the house. Currently Brandon is a working musician and a guitar teacher at MusikWorks Studios in Rome, GA and is a regular contributor to Gibson.com.
