Seth Jones teaches you to play "Hallelujah" as performed by Jeff Buckley. It was written by Leonard Cohen and released on his album Various Positions
The original recording was much different than most people know it now. Much slower and in a 12/8 feel. It was covered by another artist, John Cale, which led to Jeff Buckley's cover and it's release on his debut album Grace
Sadly, Jeff Buckley passed away in 1997 and did not live to see the height of his version’s popularity. This song, and specifically Buckley's version, is hailed by musicians and critics alike as one of the best songs of all time. Buckley's performance is haunting, and with just his guitar he brings incredible emotion out of the song."
