Nashville Country/Pop artist, Billy Dawson, is here with a lesson. “Here’s a Quarter,” by Travis Tritt, is the hit country song that is taught in this video. This song was off of the album, It’s All About To Change, released in 1991. This song peaked at #2 on the American and Canadian charts.  Tritt is reminded of the power of his song when he performs it live, as fans often hit him while throwing quarters on stage.

Billy plays a Gibson Acoustic Humingbird and a Gibson Custom Les Paul R7 Goldtop in the lesson.

    Throughout his career, Billy Dawson has shared the stage with a diverse group of established artists, including; LADY ANTEBELLUM, ONEREPUBLIC, JOHN HIATT, LORETTA LYNN, MERLE HAGGARD, SKILLET, FIVE FOR FIGHTING, CHARLIE LOUVIN, DARRYL WORLEY, and CROSS CANADIAN RAGWEED. Billy is also the winner of the 2010 Get Discovered National Competition, and had the pleasure of performing on the Jerry Lewis telethon. Billy is also the author of You Never Know, which is the #1 book in a series of children's literature against bullying, racism and other issues kids deal with. He speaks to youngsters and teaches them to respect and love one another. His sophomore record is available on iTunes, Acoustic Sessions Vol 1. and Vol 2., along with his football single, "Brought Up To Bring It."
