Adam Stark is here to teach you how to play “Paralyzer” by Finger Eleven. Finger Eleven is a Canadian rock band that started in Burlington, Ontario, in 1989. Their first taste of success came in 2003, when their self-titled album achieved Gold status in the United States and Platinum in Canada. But it wasn’t until Paralyzer when things really took off for the band.
"Paralyzer" was the first single released from the band's fifth album, Them vs. You vs. Me, which was released in March 2007. This song became the band's first career Top Ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at #6 in January of 2008. “Paralyzer” also became the band's first #1 on the Mainstream Rock and Modern Rock charts. On the Modern Rock charts, it would go on to tie a performance record of 52 consecutive weeks of charting. It also found great success on the Billboard Adult Top 40, eventually climbing into the top five of that chart, reaching #3.

Adam plays an Gibson Custom Les Paul R7 Goldtop in the lesson.
