Ramblin' Man
Adam Stark, from The Kicks, is here to teach you how to play "Ramblin’ Man” by the Allman Brothers. "Ramblin' Man" was released in 1973 on the album, Brothers and Sisters. This song was the Band's first and only top ten single, maxing out at #2 on the charts.  A little interesting fact about this song: It was one of the band's biggest charting singles, yet they rarely performed it live.

Dickie Betts, who wrote and sang lead vocals on the song, said the song's structure didn't lend itself well to improvisation, which was a key aspect of the band's concert performances.  Regardless, Ramblin' Man is part of the The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll list.

Adam plays an Gibson Custom Les Paul Axcess Standard in the lesson.
