You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet
Brandon Trapp, lead guitarist of Backwood Boulevard, teaches you a great song from Bachman Turner Overdrive, “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet.”
This tune was written by Randy Bachman and released as a single from they’re 1974 album, Not Fragile. It was a number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Its success is ironic, since Randy wrote it as a joke for his brother. While in the studio they built “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet” as a work track in order to make sure everything was mic’d properly for the rest of the project.  After the album was done the label said they still needed a single, but nothing stood out strong. Bachman reluctantly told them about the “work track.” The label loved it, and it became the single.
This is a great song to learn because it demonstrates some not so typical chord voicings and gets you playing some melodic lead licks.

Brandon plays a Gibson USA Les Paul Classic in this lesson.
