The Gibson tour bus will be rolling into Generation Expo at the Brighton Centre. Taking place October 8th and 9th, the Expo is designed for those who appreciate the finer things in life. Generation Expo will feature an eclectic mix of exhibitors, live music performers and activities.
The Gibson Tour Bus, one of only four in the world, will be coming to Brighton exclusively for the Generation Expo. The bus will be parked by the VIP entrance of Brighton's Exhibition Centre throughout the weekend. Visitors to Generation Expo will have the opportunity to board the Gibson Tour Bus at pre-scheduled times and experience the heritage and prestige that Gibson Guitar is known for, whilst being given the full Gibson rock star treatment.
Gibson will also be showcasing the recently released Gibson Firebird X guitar system, the world’s most technically enhanced self- tuning guitar. There will be two scheduled Gibson Firebird X guitar demonstrations on the main stage each day to give visitors the opportunity to experience this ground-breaking instrument up close.
Expo attendees are encouraged to “Like” the Gibson Guitar UK Facebook page at http://on.fb.me/aylnsF to win some fantastic Gibson merchandise as well as to receive alerts for the scheduled Gibson Firebird X demo's and the Gibson Tour Bus opening times.
Generation Expo will feature a very special Old Grey Whistle Test 40th Anniversary celebration hosted by ‘Whispering’ Bob Harris, with live performances by Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford from Squeeze as well as the original Prince Charming himself, Adam Ant.
GAK, Brighton’s leading guitar dealer will be on hand at Generation Expo to showcase and sell a wide range of new Gibson guitars from across the company's divisions including a selection of new Gibson USA Hit & Run models. Attendees will be able to browse GAK's extensive collection of Gibson guitars or road test one on their stand located in the main exhibition centre.
Generation Expo’s founder, Julia Jones said: “Many people in their 40s and 50s today are faced with a host of challenges. They have deep uncertainty and confusion about their future pension provisions, they still actively enjoy popular rock music and live events, they are adventurous travelers, some may have ageing and infirm parents who they are having to care for, some may have dependents who are still living at home as they cannot afford to leave, some may need to start their own small businesses to supplement their insufficient retirement income in future years. These are difficult times and this event aims to provide some serious assistance and inspiration within an entertaining environment. Ultimately, the Generation Expo event will be a great up-lifter with long-lasting effects”
Generation Expo also features a host of exhibitors in the arts, fashion, travel, sports, health, music, food, drink and technology to entertain visitors throughout the weekend.
