The revered musician passed away yesterday (Feb. 25) in Mexico after suffering a heart attack. Hailed as one of history’s greatest guitarists, the six-string virtuoso vastly expanded the audience for flamenco guitar, giving the style a more vibrant, modern sound.

Rock Candy Funk Party, Joe Bonamassa's funk band, have just released a three-disc live album. The album was recorded at the Iridium in New York City, and contains a double CD with eight original songs as well as four covers, and a DVD or Blu-ray which contain a 30 minute documentary.

Believe it or not, but it’s been twenty years since Soundgarden released their seminal album Superunknown. To commemorate the event, the band have announced plans to release a 20th anniversary edition of the album. There will be three different versions available — a vinyl release, and two deluxe packages, all to be released on June 3. All the packages will contain demos and rehearsal recordings.
