“We're working on new material now, for another record,” Slash tells Al.com. “[I’m into] just trying to do what's the most inspiring thing, and picking up some new stuff along the way. There's always that element of new discovery that ends up on the next record. Alice Cooper’s new star-studded covers album is finished and in the can. Speaking with Billboard.com, the veteran shock rocker said he’s “very, very happy” with the disc, which features an A-list of Cooper’s musician pals. “McCartney's on it,” he says. “Zak Starkey's on it. Dave Grohl is on it, [AC/DC frontman] Brian Johnson--and in places where you wouldn't expect them to be. That's the cool thing.”

Ever since Guns N’ Roses wrapped up their Las Vegas residency last summer, speculation has been rampant that the band has permanently gone their separate ways. Not so fast, says GNR guitarist DJ Ashba. Speaking with the Las Vegas Sun, Ashba says he fully expects to return to the stage with Axl Rose and his other GNR mates in the not-so-distant future.
