Ex-KISS guitarist Ace Frehley has announced a handful of fall 2014 tour dates in support of his new solo album, Space Invader, which arrived in August. The tour will set off on Nov. 13 in New Brunswick, N.J., and continue through a Nov. 26 stop in Glenside, Penn.

Bob Dylan has been named the 2015 MusiCares Person of the Year by the Recording Academy, and the musical legend will be given a proper salute this February. Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam, Jack White, the Black Keys, Beck, Bonnie Raitt, John Mellencamp, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Tom Jones and Neil Young are among the big names slated to pay tribute to Dylan at the gala event.

The site The Richest recently put together a list of the Top 10 richest guitarists in the world. Topping the list is Jimmy Buffett. He probably wouldn’t have been my first guess for the top spot, but when you consider what a popular live act Buffett is, along with his very successful Margaritaville restaurant chain, it’s no wonder he’s number one with an estimated net worth of $400 million.
