A Chinese gong once used by Led Zeppelin’s legendary drummer John Bonham hits the auction block next month, with an estimated final price expected to fall somewhere between $80,000 - $120,000. The huge brass gong with two painted Chinese characters was consigned to the U.K.’s Bonhams (no relation) auction house by the late drummer’s sister, Deborah, and his mother, Joan. It is set to be auctioned at Bonhams’ gallery in Los Angeles on June 14, as part of the Peter Golding Collection of Rock and Roll Art and Animation Art auction.
