Pearl Jam has been booked as the first music act to appear on The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien. According to the band’s website, on June 1, the night O’Brien takes over as host, the band will perform songs (note the plural) from their forthcoming studio album.

Police in Atlanta’s DeKalb County have confirmed to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament was assaulted and robbed last month in the parking lot of a local recording studio.
