Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil was set to perform in Beaumont, TX, on August 17, but the concert was thwarted by a garbage truck. Neil, along with Slaughter, and Great White were part of the bill at a charity event for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.
Apparently an accident involving a garbage truck on a nearby highway caused a massive power outage. The promotor of the event said that they chose to cancel the event, citing the safety of the fans as their top priority.
Although the event is supposed to be rescheduled, it seems finding a suitable date might prove difficult. In mid-September Vince Neil and Mötley Crüe kick off their second Las Vegas residency, named an Evening in Hell. They will play a dozen shows at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino between September 18 and October 6.
