John Fogerty isn’t ruling out the possibility of a Creedence Clearwater Revival reunion. Confronted with the question on CBS This Morning, the veteran rocker replied, “From time to time, I'll say something and it'll get in print that maybe that will happen, and then immediately I'll hear back stuff that doesn't sound like it's possible. I think it's a possibility in the future, you know. It's not something I'm actively seeking, but I'm not totally against the idea either."
CCR experienced a tumultuous breakup in 1972. Since 1995, original members Stu Cook and Doug Clifford have toured on occasion as Creedence Clearwater Revisited. Creedence’s other former member – Fogerty’s brother, Tom – died in 1990. Fogerty was appearing on the morning telecast to promote his new album, Wrote a Song for Everyone. The album hits record stores on May 28.
