Neil Young is gearing up for the release of Live At the Cellar Door, a live album made up of material from his six shows at the Cellar Door in Washington D.C. between November 30 and December 2, 1970.
Among the highlights are a rare version of "Cinnamon Girl" on piano instead of guitar, and "Old Man," which wasn't officially released until 1972 on the Harvest album. All songs are performed either on acoustic guitar or piano.
Live At the Cellar Door will be released on November 26 through Reprise Records. The album is part of Young's Archives Performance Series, and will be released digitally as well as on CD and 180-gram vinyl.
