Papa Roach Postpone South American Tour
Papa Roach are on tap to perform at the upcoming Carnival of Madness Tour in the U.S., but fans in South America will have to wait a while to see the band on tour. The band has been forced to postpone their upcoming South American tour, as singer Jacoby Shaddix deals with some vocal problems.
“To our fans in South America, we are sorry to say our tour is canceled,” guitarist Jerry Horton wrote on the band’s official Facebook page. “Jacoby is having vocal issues and has been ordered to rest. We will be rescheduling the tour for next year.”
Shaddix dealt with vocals problems last year, as well, when Papa Roach bowed out of the 2012 Uproar Festival to enable Shaddix to get a nodule removed from his vocal cord.
As for the band’s upcoming North American appearance, that kicks off Sunday (Aug. 11) in Asbury, N.J., as part of the Carnival of Madness Tour, which also features Shinedown, Skillet, In this Moment and We as Human.
