Stevie Nicks is staring at a busy fall, touring with the legendary Fleetwood Mac. Still, Nicks plans to make time for a new solo album, with Billboard reporting that she hopes to unleash her latest solo set this October.
Nicks told the publication that she recorded “18 tracks in three weeks” for the album, making it the “fastest I have ever recorded.”
Tentatively called 24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault, the upcoming album will feature newly recorded versions of older tunes that have never been featured on a Nicks’ album. Nicks is recording the album in Nashville and Los Angeles and co-producing it with Dave Stewart and Waddy Wachtel.
24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault will mark Nicks’ follow-up to 2011’s In Your Dreams.
Fleetwood Mac’s fall tour will set off Sept. 30 in Minneapolis.
