As anticipated, Guns N’ Roses will bring Chinese Democracy to North America starting with a performance in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on January 13 of 2010.

The Winnipeg concert is the first of thirteen shows the band will perform during the Canadian leg of its GN’R world tour, which kicks off in Asia on December 11. The group – which is comprised of Axl Rose, Frank Ferrer, Tommy Stinson, Richard Fortus, Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, Dizzy Reed, Chris Pitman, and newest member DJ Ashba – will soon begin rehearsals in Los Angeles.

Released in November 2008, the band’s Chinese Democracy album debuted at #1 in thirteen countries – including Canada, where the disc achieved triple platinum sales. Guns N’ Roses last staged a world tour in 2006-2007, when the group performed 60 concerts in 26 countries.
