Dethklok

Dethklok have booked a new North American headline tour, after their previously planned tour with Lamb of God fell through due to LoG vocalist Randy Blythe's arrest in the Czech Republic.

Dethklok - the animated band from Adult Swim's Metalocalypse and the brainchild of Gibson signature artist Brendon Small, of course - will be supported by Machine Head, All That Remains and The Black Dahlia Murder. The tour begins in Norfolk, Virginia on October 30 and winds up in December in Atlanta, Georgia.

The live incarnation of Dethklok includes drummer Gene Hoglan (Testament, Strapping Young Lad), bass player Bryan Beller, (The Aristocrats, Steve Vai and many sessions, some of which you can read about in our article about musical collaboration by email) and Mike Keneally (solo, Frank Zappa). Due to touring commitments with The Aristocrats, Bryan Beller will have to sit out the first eleven dates of the tour: Pete Griffin (ex-Zappa Plays Zappa) will step in for those shows before Beller rejoins the band in Fargo.

Dethklok release Dethalbum III on October 16.
