As most of you are already aware of, Green Day are getting ready to release their first album from their upcoming trilogy.
Today you will be able to listen to ¡Uno! over at NME.com. So far, the band has released four songs from the album; “Oh Love,” “Kill The DJ,” “Let Yourself Go,” and “Nuclear Family.” The songs, and the rest of the trilogy according to the band, is a departure from the group's past couple of albums, which were essentially rock operas with political undertones.
Green Day singer and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong recently had to be hospitalized due to illness before the band was scheduled to perform in Bologna, Italy. Band mates Tré Cool and Mike Dirnt issued a sincere video apology for the canceled gig on the band's website. A testament to Green Day's commitment to their fans. Armstrong has since recovered and the singer jokingly spoke about the event before participating in the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards “I've always had a parasite inside my body. This time he decided to dance a little bit more.”
