Australian rock band INXS will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their groundbreaking Kick album by reissuing the record along with unseen footage of Michael Hutchence footage and previously unseen handwritten lyrics from the charismatic singer who passed in 1997.
The U.K.’s Daily Express newspaper reports that the deluxe set will be released in September. The band’s manager Chris Murphy said: “It’ll be an amazing, super-duper package. There’s stuff that was recorded with Michael for Kick that didn’t go on the album.”
There are also plans for the band, with singer Ciaran Gribbin, to perform Kick in its entirety in Australia this year.
