American folk legend Pete Seeger may be 93, but he’s going strong. Seeger has two albums set for release in September. The first album will feature brand new songs written by Seeger and collaborator Lorre Wyatt. A More Perfect Union contains duets with Bruce Springsteen, Steve Earle, Tom Morello, Dar Williams and Emmylou Harris.
The second recording will take form in a double-CD tribute to Woody Guthrie. Pete Remembers Woody is a celebration of the centenary of Guthrie’s birth that has been celebrated in 2012.
A More Perfect Union is described as Seeger's commentary on “current economic, political, and environmental issues.” Both albums are out September 25.
