A 15-disc box set of Ronnie James Dio’s best singles is due for release in late August. Hennemusic reports that Dio: The Singles Collection compiles a box of the band’s classic singles on Vertigo/Universal in replicas of the original release, along with a DVD featuring all of the corresponding promo videos.

The 14 CDs include 48 songs from 14 previous singles, while the DVD presents 12 music videos. The package comes with a reprint of a U.K. tour poster and a Dio “family tree,” as well as 32-page complete discography of Dio’s Vertigo years. The singles cuts include:

“Holy Diver”
“Rainbow in the Dark”
“The Last in Line”
“We Rock”
“Mystery”
“Rock N Roll Children”
“Hungry for Heaven”
“King Of Rock N Roll”
“I Could Have Been A Dreamer”
“All The Fools Sailed Away”
“The Dio EP”
“Jesus Mary and the Holy Ghost”

A Ronnie James Dio tribute album is also in the works for 2013. Organized by Ronnie’s wife/manager Wendy Dio, the project will tentatively include contributions from Metallica, Anthrax, Judas Priest’s Rob Halford, Motorhead’s Lemmy Kilmister, Deep Purple’s Ian Gillan, Alice Cooper, Glenn Hughes, Sebastian Bach, Chris Jericho and Dave Grohl.

Dio died in May 2010 at the age of 67 from stomach cancer.
