6767 - Dave Navarro
An Alternative-minded Acoustic for
an Alt-Rock Legend
A great acoustic starts with great wood, and Epiphone has turned to the all-time classic – solid bookmatched Sitka spruce – for the soundboard (top) of the Dave Navarro Signature Acoustic/Electric. A solid mahogany back and select mahogany sides add warmth and depth to the spruce’s legendary sweetness and clarity, resulting in a rich, resonant, well-balanced tone that ranks with the great acoustic dreadnoughts from Gibson and Epiphone’s past. Taking all that acoustic tone right up the to present when you need to plug in is Epiphone’s eSonic™ preamp system with the revolutionary NanoFlex™ under-saddle pickup. Designed in cooperation with and made by Shadow™ of Germany, the eSonic is a small, lightweight preamp powered by two long-lasting Lithium batteries.
It features a fast and extremely accurate built-in chromatic tuner that allows you to “mute” the output of the guitar while tuning or while “unplugging” to avoid any loud “pop.” Other controls include Master Volume, Treble and Bass EQ, a Dynamics slider that acts as an EQ frequency shifter, and a “phase” switch to help eliminate feedback. Under the genuine bone saddle is Shadow’s Nanoflex pickup. Not a piezo, the NanoFlex design utilizes 7 highly sensitive and ultra-responsive layers of sensor material to not only sense the vibrations of the strings but the vibrations of the guitar body as well. This produces results equivalent to a condenser-microphone mixed with an under-saddle pickup. The Nanoflex is the first pickup to incorporate active amplification directly at the pickup. As a result, the signal does not pass through even a single millimeter of the wire and therefore, the signal quality is uncompromised. Combined with its 100% shielding, the Nanoflex is absolutely and completely noise free.
Add to this a bone nut, high-efficiency Grover tuners, and a rosewood “moustache” bridge and you can see that no detail has been spared in making the Dave Navarro Signature Acoustic/Electric a true titan of tone. To make it superbly playable as well, Epiphone has included a deep, rounded body cutaway for excellent upper-fret access, a comfortable SlimTaper™ “D” neck profile, and a full 25.5" scale length and slightly wider nut width of 1.725" for easy, precise fingering. In short, the Dave Navarro Signature model is a no-compromises acoustic/electric for a no-compromises player. As with all Epiphone instruments, the new Dave Navarro Signature model comes with a Limited Lifetime warranty and Shadow's 5-year warranty (electronics) and is backed by world famous 24/7/365 day Gibson Customer Service.

Neck, Fingerboard and Headstock
The guitar’s neck and headstock are made in the tradition of many great Epiphone and Gibson acoustics of years past, with a full 25.5" scale length for a full, bold voice and a slightly wider nut width of 1.725" for easy, precise fingering. Carved from a single piece of solid mahogany to a SlimTaper™ “D” profile, and topped with a bound ebony fingerboard, it is also supremely playable.

Pickups and Electronics
The Dave Navarro Signature Acoustic/Electric comes equipped with a revolutionary new system that pairs an eSonic™ preamp and Nanoflex™ pickup, developed in conjunction with Shadow in Germany. The advanced eSonic preamp boasts multiple performance features, and is partnered with an under-saddle Nanoflex strip that performs more like a condenser mic than a traditional piezo pickup.
