Tuning Keys
The headstock of the Hummingbird Pro carries six diecast Grover Rotomatic tuners, with an efficient 14:1 turn ratio.
Bridge
A traditional six-pin bridge made from Indian rosewood in Gibson’s “belly up” style offers firm string anchoring and outstanding vibrational coupling with the body, while a one-piece bone saddle keeps things ringing sweetly with excellent sustain.
Truss Rod Cover
The Hummingbird Pro carries a blend of traditional and updated plastics, including a classic antique-bell-shaped truss rod cover.
Pickup System
The Hummingbird Pro comes with a streamlined L.R. Baggs Element system with under-saddle pickup and endpin jack with self-contained preamp, allowing for easy amplification or DI recording. The Hummingbird Pro EC with cutaway body styling includes a Fishman Prefix Plus-T system, which provides added sonic versatility for the contemporary player.
In addition to its acclaimed pickup element, the Fishman Prefix Plus-T features an onboard preamp with ultra-quiet electronics and Volume, Bass, Treble and semi-parametric Contour controls. Along with a built-in chromatic tuner, the Prefix Plus-T adds a Brilliance control and a Phase switch and Notch filter to help fight feedback.
Strap Button
The guitar’s endpin jack doubles as pickup output and body-end strap button.
Strings
Gibson’s Light Gauge phosphor-bronze acoustic strings, sizes .011-.052, are installed at the factory.
