Built for Speed, Loaded with Tone
While looks are important, the new Graveyard Disciple doesn't compromise in the performance department either. As with most all Zakk's guitars, the neck is made of hard maple for bright attack and glued into a solid Mahogany body, which adds a touch of warm and further enhances sustain. The neck features a "D" profile, Slim-Taper neck with a smooth, satin finish for fast and effortless lead work, and carries a bound, ebony fingerboard and medium-jumbo frets for fast fingering and easy bending. With the Graveyard Disciple’s high neck/body joint, there’s easy access to all 22 frets, too, and nothing to stand in your way of totally slaying the audience.
There’s no use in amping up all that shred if a guitar doesn’t pack the sound to match, and the Graveyard Disciple is locked and loaded with tone. The EMG HZ-4A in the bridge position and HZ-4 in the neck are designed to emulate EMG’s legendary active 81 and 85 models, but are passive humbuckers—among the quietest on the planet—so you don’t have to worry about changing batteries, or showing up dead. A genuine “double locking” Floyd Rose™ vibrato with matching locking nut is mounted in a back-routed cavity for searing up-bends as well as this unit’s legendary dive bombing action.
Deadly Details
Other features on the Graveyard Disciple include premium 16:1 ratio Grover™ machine heads, mother-of-pearl topped metal knobs, Epiphone's non-rotating output jack and Zakk's signature silhouette on the back of the headstock. For added comfort and convenience while playing in the seated position, the guitar features the brilliantly designed and patented Steinberger Leg Rest. Fold it down and rest it on your leg. Fold it up and it practically disappears.
A guitar like this needs to be carried in style: the Graveyard Disciple includes a custom-made Coffin™ case featuring the "Graveyard Disciple" artwork on it. As with every Epiphone, it features their Limited Lifetime warranty backed by world famous 24/7/365 day Gibson Customer Service. Plug one in and wake the dead today!
Body and Finish
The body of each Graveyard Disciple is crafted from solid mahogany to a Zakk-approved “coffin” shape, and finished in Ebony, with a contoured body edge and pinstriping to add depth and comfort to the look.

Neck, Fingerboard and Headstock
The neck of the Graveyard Disciple is made from solid hard maple and glued into the guitar’s body. It is carved with Zakk’s preferred Slim-Taper “D” profile, and topped with an ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl block markers, and a multi-bound headstock with mother-of-pearl cross inlay.

Pickups and Electronics
A pair of Zakk-certified EMG humbuckers (an HZ-4 and HZ-4A) give the Graveyard Disciple the power it needs to knock ‘em dead, while single master Tone and Volume controls and a traditional three-way switch mounted on the upper body edge keep it simple and unobtrusive.

Hardware
With Grover tuners and a genuine Floyd Rose™ vibrato bridge (with locking nut), the Graveyard Disciple is poised to stay in tune no matter how brutal your bends and whammies. Additional deadly details include a gothic GD on the truss rod cover and black strap buttons.
