Tuning Keys
The headstock of the Worn 1966 Wilshires carries six in-line die-cast tuners with an efficient 14:1 turn ratio.
Trussrod Cover
A black and white plastic truss rod cover adorns the neck of the Worn 1966 Wilshire.
Strap Buttons
The Worn 1966 Wilshire uses standard, die-cast nickel plated strap buttons.
Pickguard
The guitar carries an accurate rendition of the original 1966 Wilshire’s 3-layered pickguard.
Bridge
For maximum stability and resonance, the Worn 1966 Wilshire carries a LockTone™ Tune-o-matic bridge. The “locking” bridge stays put during string changes and provides a firm seating for the strings, allowing the player to adjust and fine-tune the intonation and string height in a matter of minutes. It also yields excellent coupling between strings and body, maximizing tone, and sustain.
Tailpiece
Every Tune-o-matic bridge is combined with a separate LockTone™ “stopbar” tailpiece, which is essentially a modified version of the earlier wraparound bridge that’s designed to further enhance the connection between the strings and the body.
Control Knobs
The Worn 1966 Wilshire carries black knobs with silver inserts.
Strings
The Worn 1966 Wilshire is fitted with .010 - .046 strings.
