Bridge
For maximum stability and resonance, the 1966 Worn Wilshire Tremotone carries a Tune-o-matic bridge with roller saddles. This bridge provides a firm seating for the strings, allowing the player to adjust and fine-tune the intonation and string height in a matter of minutes. It also yields excellent coupling between strings and body, maximizing tone, and sustain, and the roller saddles provide outstanding return-to-pitch performance when the Tremotone™ vibrato tailpiece is in use. Tailpiece
Epiphone's redesigned Tremotone™ vibrato tailpiece offers extremely smooth operation, outstanding return-to-pitch capabilities, and accurate and even manual vibrato tones. Its clever and unique design, which wraps the strings around staggered flanges rather than one consistent "roller bar", enables the unit to detune each string somewhat differently according to thickness and tension. The result is a more balanced vibrato of chords, with notes detuned according to pitch, and a smooth vibrato of individual notes. Tailpiece
