A Classic Shredder, Revitalized for the 21st Century
From its resonant solid mahogany body, to its American hard rock maple neck and fingerboard, the Pacer Classic packs the tonewoods needed to punch through the mix, while its dual Alnico V humbucking pickups provide everything from sweet, round, singing neck tones to snarly crunch and wail from the bridge position. With all the tonal bases covered, the Pacer Classic's playability is what nails it as a truly legendary shred machine. Its bolt-on 25 1/2" scale neck is carved to the wide, thin profile that the world's fastest players demand, and capped with a maple fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets and the 14" radius that gives you all the room you need to bend to extremes, without any dead spots or choking out.
And what would a world-class shred machine be without a top-flight whammy bar? For wobbles and divebombs, the Pacer Classic goes with the best: a Licensed Floyd Rose™ "double-locking" vibrato system with built-in fine tuners and a locking nut and tension bar up at the traditional Kramer "beak" headstock to keep it all tight and rockin'. And, while every other detail is spot-on to the Pacer circa 1983, Kramer has moved the truss-rod adjustment on the Pacer Classic to the headstock, making tweaks and set-up adjustments a breeze.
Check out a Kramer Pacer Classic today, and prepare to meet your inner shredmeister!
