They are single—coil pickups that offer plenty of bite in all positions, yet they retain much of the punch and aggression of vintage humbuckers, too. In the neck position the P—90 is warm, thick and creamy but with plenty of clarity, while in the bridge offers crunchy rhythm tones and gnarly, screaming lead tones through a cranked amp.
