Prepare the Assault: the Kramer 211 FR is ready!

Mahogany bodies are legendary for their warmth, depth and resonance, and the Assault 211 FR is no exception. A solid mahogany neck – glued in, rather than bolted – further contributes to the Assault 211 FR's resonance and sustain, while a fast, slim profile neck with 24-fret ebony fingerboard lets you rev up all the speed you can muster. To translate all this tonal goodness to your amp of choice, Kramer loads the Assault 211 FR with three genuine Alnico V pickups: a humbucker in the bridge, and single coils in the middle and neck positions.

Designed in the style of the hallowed Gibson PAF humbuckers of the late '50s and early '60s, the bridge pickup has a few more turns of wire for crunchier rhythm tones and more searing leads, with wax-potted coils to combat unwanted feedback squeal (though they'll dish out wailing harmonic feedback aplenty when you wind 'em up!). A treble-bleed network on the master Volume controls keeps your highs sweet and true even when you wind down, too. For all your vibrato action, the Assault 211 FR's Licensed Floyd Rose system has you covered. The most cutting-edge vibrato available, and recessed on the Assault 211 FR for a low profile and smooth performance, the Floyd is up for anything from gentle warbles to deep divebombs.

To top it all off, the Assault 211 FR looks great in your choice of Pearl White or Candy Red, with distinctive "thorn" fingerboard inlays. Launch the assault today at your authorized Kramer dealer.
Body and Finish
The Assault 211 FR is made from solid mahogany, and is designed in a modified "single cutaway" style. A time-tested tonewood, mahogany has been long valued for its richness, resonance, and outstanding frequency balance. The guitars come in your choice of high-gloss Pearl White or Candy Red, with all controls slightly recessed into the top for a sleek, low profile appearance.

The Assault 211 FR has a glued-in solid-mahogany neck with 24-fret fingerboard made from select ebony. It is made to the 25-1/2" scale length that many shredders prefer, with 1-11/16" nut widths and 14" fingerboard radius, and carries Kramer's stylish new back-angled, 3-3 "Assault" headstock.

Pickups and Electronics
The Assault 211 FR carries a three pickups in the popular H/S/S layout, all made with genuine Alnico V magnets. These are routed through a master Volume control and two Tone controls with a five-way selector for maximum versatility. The Volume pot hides a "treble-bleed" mod to retain highs as you wind down the control.

The Assault 211 FR is equipped with high-quality enclosed tuners and non-slip strap buttons, gnurled control knobs, and a Licensed Floyd Rose™ double-locking vibrato tailpiece with locking nut for optimum vibrato performance and return-to-pitch capabilities. Hardware is plated in black nickel.
