Neck Species
The guitars neck is made from solid mahogany.
Neck Profile
The necks on the Assault 211 FR is carved to a slim, wide profile, the most popular neck shape for shred-style rockers.
Joint
Kramer uses a "set" neck for the 211 FR, with a neck that is hand-fitted to the body and attached with premium TiteBond wood glue.

Logo
The headstock wears a modern "Kramer" logo decal.
Fingerboard Radius
The fingerboards of the Assault 211 FR is both cut to a 14" radius, which provides excellent playing ease and comfort, and avoids any dead spots or "choking out" of notes while bending strings.
Fingerboard and Nut
Fingerboard Species
The Assault 211 FR carries a fast and hardwearing ebony fingerboard, long considered an upgrade on high-quality guitars.
Frets
The fingerboards carry 24 medium-jumbo frets, which contribute to the instrument's big tone and easy, bend-friendly playing feel.
Tonal Characteristics
The solid mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, and set-neck construction all contribute to the Assault 211 FR's superior tonal depth and sustain. The mahogany adds further roundness to the voice, while the ebony contributes clarity and articulation.
Inlays
Acrylic mother-of-pearl "thorn" inlays adorn the fingerboard of the 211 FR.
Nut Width
The width of the nut on the Assault 211 FR is approximately 1-11/16", which provides the neck room required for fast shred playing styles.
