Bridge/Tailpiece
To complete its full-shred pedigree, the new Assault 220FR comes equipped with a Licensed Floyd Rose™ vibrato bridge, the cutting-edge unit that set the standard for everything from deep divebombs to gentle tremulous shimmers. This bridge is partnered with a locking nut for rock-solid return-to-pitch capabilities. For fans of hardtail performance, the Assault 220 uses through-body stringing and a recessed tune-o-matic bridge, for improved resonance and sustain and outstanding intonation.
Control Knobs
The Assault 220 & 220FR are adorned with two knurled black metal knobs, which provide a sure grip on its volume and tone controls (knurled chrome knobs on the 220 in Copper Metallic).
