Joint

Radius
The fingerboards of the Assault 220 & 220FR are both cut to a 14” radius, which provides excellent playing ease and comfort, and avoids any dead spots or “choking out” of notes while bending strings.

Tonal Characteristics
The solid mahogany neck, rosewood or ebony fingerboard, and set-neck construction all contribute to the Assault 220 & 220FR’s superior tonal depth and sustain. Rosewood adds bite and clarity, while ebony further increases the guitar’s “snap” and articulation.
