He Stopped Loving Her Today
Lance Allen teaches one of the most classic country songs of all time, "He Stopped Lovin' Her Today" by George Jones. This distinguished song was released in 1980 on the album, I Am What I Am Mr. Jones received a grammy for best male country vocal performance, and the song was awarded single of the year and song of the year for both 1980 and 1981! It continues to be one of the greatest country songs ever written.

    Award winning finger style guitarist Lance Allen began teaching guitar at the young age of fifteen. Although trained in traditional rock and blues music, following in the footsteps of Jimmy page, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton and Eddie Van Halen, Lance's first love of guitar style is in finger-style guitar playing and has contributed to periodicals like "Fingerstyle Guitar Magazine," "Acoustic Guitar Magazine" and "Mel Bay's" guitar sessions. In 2008 he was inducted in to the International Thumb-pickers Hall of Fame continuing in the tradition of Kentucky thumb picking created by legendary guitarists, Chet Atkins, Merle Travis and Tommy Emmanuel. Lance continues to give guitar instruction from intermediate to advanced students everywhere.
