Fallin' For You
Singer/Songwriter, Tim Bergstrom, gives a run down on “Fallin’ For You” by Colbie Caillat. This song was the first single off of her second album, Breakthrough, which was released in the summer of 2009. It went on to reach number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100, and was on the charts for 2 weeks. It also made appearances on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100 and Adult Pop Songs Charts.

In case you didn’t know, Colbie is an award winning songwriter who got her start as MySpace’s top unsigned artist in 2007. This jumpstarted her career.

Tim plays a Gibson Acoustic Hummingbird and a Gibson Custom Les Paul R7 Goldtop in the lesson.

Tim Bergstrom is a singer/songwriter out of Nashville, TN who has a sound that has been 15 years in the making. An Indiana native, Tim spent countless hours sitting in front his bedroom stereo being influenced from everything from CCM to jazz to rock 'n roll. Among these influences, Ben Harper, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Bob Marley had large impressions early on. But as Tim has progressed in his songwriting and his playing he has settled into a sound that is in the same vane as Ryan Adams, The Wallflowers, Augustana, and Tom Petty. His most recent release Found is a return to his roots in CCM while applying his acquired "straight ahead" sound. In recent years Tim has worked with up and comers such as The Daylights, Andy Davis, Mariah McManus, The CO, and more.
