James Capozzi, from Yes & No, shows you how to play the massive hit, “Glycerine,” by Bush. This English alternative rock band formed in 1992, and found immediate success with their debut album, Sixteen Stone, which was certified 6 times multi-platinum.
Bush has had numerous top ten singles on Billboard, and a number one album, “Razorblade Suitcase,” which came out in 1996. They went on to sell over 10 million records in the US, and recently came out of an eight-year hiatus to release The Sea of Memories in 2011. “Glycerine” is the 4th single off their first album, and it is also their biggest hit to date.

James plays an Gibson Custom Les Paul R7 Goldtop in the lesson.

James Capozzi
James Capozzi began playing guitar at the age of 12 when he overheard his clarinet teacher tell his parents that he was a "natural." That was all the motivation he needed to switch instruments. His earliest influences were the blues greats, Hendrix/SRV/Clapton, and he began to try and emulate what they did and also add his own style to it. In high school he began getting into the rock/indie scene with bands like Switchfoot and Jimmy Eat World.

James moved to Nashville in 2005 in order to finish school and also be in an environment with other musicians. He has been in several bands since his arrival and is now working on an acoustic project with his brother, Dave, called Yes & No.
