Adam Stark, from The Kicks, gives the run down on “Hero” by Chad Kroeger of Nickelback featuring Josey Scott from the hard rock band, Saliva.
This song was recorded in 2002 for the Spiderman Soundtrack, and featured Pearl Jam’s drummer Matt Cameron, as well as Mike Kroeger on bass, and Theory of a Dead Man lead singer/guitarist Tyler Connolly. However, in the music video, Matt Cameron was actually replaced by Our Lady Peace drummer, Jeremy Taggart.
This song reached #1 on the Billboard Modern Rock Chart, Mainstream Rock Chart, and #3 on the Hot 100 Chart. It would go on to be a 4x Platinum selling single in the US, and an 8 time Platinum selling single in Canada.

Adam plays a Gibson Nitrous Les Paul Studio in this lesson.
