James Capozzi, from Yes & No, gives a lesson on how to play “Jealous Again” by The Black Crowes.
This American rock band released their debut album,
Shake Your Money Maker, in 1990. “Jealous Again” was the first single off that album. The Black Crowes went on to release nine studio albums, four live albums and several charting singles, including “Jealous Again.”
Following the success of their first album, readers of Rolling Stone voted them 'Best New American Band' in 1990. They have sold more than 30 million albums worldwide and were listed at number 92 on VH1’s 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock.

James Capozzi began playing guitar at the age of 12 when he overheard his clarinet teacher tell his parents that he was a "natural." That was all the motivation he needed to switch instruments. His earliest influences were the blues greats, Hendrix/SRV/Clapton, and he began to try and emulate what they did and also add his own style to it. In high school he began getting into the rock/indie scene with bands like Switchfoot and Jimmy Eat World.
James moved to Nashville in 2005 in order to finish school and also be in an environment with other musicians. He has been in several bands since his arrival and is now working on an acoustic project with his brother, Dave, called Yes & No. |
