Following a sellout launch event in November, the second Gibson City Blues Jam took place at the prestigious Boisdale of Canary Wharf on Tuesday, December 6. In association with Stratstone of Mayfair Aston Martin and Gibson Custom, Gibson City Blues Jam is an exciting series of events which offers guests a rare opportunity to perform on stage with some of the world’s leading session musicians in one of the capital’s most exclusive venues.

Throughout the evening, guests took to the Boisdale stage to perform a track of their choice with the Gibson City Blues Jam house band Pacifico Blues. Performing guests could select from a variety of Gibson Custom guitars, basses, keys, drums or even take lead vocals. The house band supported each participant’s musical style and ability to a blues rock classic from a list which included songs by artists such as Howlin’ Wolf, John Lee Hooker, Credence Clearwater Revival, Janis Joplin, B.B. King and Eric Clapton.

Pacifico Blues is a contemporary London blues band featuring musicians from the internationally renowned AllStars Collective – session musicians who in their day jobs play with the world’s most celebrated music artists. Gibson City Blues Jam offers guests an incredible “money can’t buy experience” to perform with some of the music industry’s elite. A selection of Gibson Custom guitars were available for purchase throughout the evening.
