Beck is getting ready to release his new album Morning Phase, but fans can already stream the entire album via NPR. The album was recorded last year in studios in Nashville, New York, Los Angeles, and London. Beck talked about the recording process in an interview with Billboard: "I had some old songs, and I found the ones that fit together the best, and then I worked on building it, stripping it back, rewriting it and just kept going until I felt like it was getting better and better."
Morning Phase is Beck's first studio album since 2008's Modern Guilt. But aside from the new album, the musician has also confirmed that he is working on more songs with other high profile collaborators, Pharrell Williams being one of them. Beck tells Billboard that music might see the light of day at the end of the year "time willing."
