What does Guns N’ Roses members Dizzy Reed and Richard Fortus have in common with Rolling Stones touring bassist Darryl Jones? Along with guitarist David Lowy and drummer Charley Drayton they all play in the band The Dead Daisies.

The band is fronted by former INXS member Jon Stevens.

The band released their self-titled debut album last year, which was mainly written by Stevens and Lowy, with some help from none other than Slash. If you haven’t already heard it, check out the awesomely rocking single “Lock ‘N’ Load” featuring Mr. Hudson.

The band is already working on their sophomore effort with help from all band members. “We actually recorded three new songs in the middle of that last tour,” Reed told Hot Metal . “I think we do well under pressure. We had some riffs and I think we all sort of found a common ground. We all listened to the same music. It’s kind of what we do,” Reed continued.
