The guys of Green Day are digging up old footage for a documentary chronicling the band’s early years, and they need your help. Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool are asking fans to find some nostalgic Green Day paraphernalia to contribute to the upcoming documentary.
Band members posted a note on their official website on Tuesday (Oct. 29) asking people that have original video footage, flyers, photos or audio of Green Day band taken between 1987 and 1993 to send in the goods.
Say you have some retro Green Day items? If you’d like to be considered for the movie, email the flick’s director, Corbett Redford, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Green Day have yet to announce a title and release date for the documentary.
