Gregg Allman

Gregg Allman may have just wrapped up a tour with the Allman Brothers Band, but he’s getting ready to head right back on the road. The frontman has booked a meaty North American run this fall, which kicks off Oct. 11 in Montgomery, Ala., and runs through a Jan. 8 show in Sarasota, Fla.

In addition to touring, Allman is also thinking ahead to new music. He recently told American Blues Scene that he’s gunning to start work on the follow-up to his 2011 solo release, “Low Country Blues,” sometime in November.
