Lzzy Hale

We here at Gibson would like to say a huge congratulations to Halestorm for winning the Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance Grammy for their single Love Bites (So Do I).

In her acceptance speech, Lzzy Hale said "Thank you to our fellow nominees. If it wasn't for your inspiration…. Iron Maiden, for heaven's sake… Lamb of God… We would not have written this song and been in this category. [This is] dedicated to all the Halestorm freaks."

Drummer Arejay Hale said "I've gotta thank my parents — our parents — for turning us on to great music. Y'know, most parents want their kids to be doctors and lawyers, and our parents encouraged us to join the circus. So thank you, guys!"

The other nominees in the consolidated Hard Rock/Metal category were Anthrax with I'm Alive from Worship Music; Megadeth with Whose Life (Is It Anyway?) from Th1rt3en, Marilyn Manson with No Reflection from Born Villain; Lamb of God with Ghost Walking from Resolution; and Iron Maiden with Blood Brothers from their live album En Vivo!

Last year Lzzy Hale stopped by the Gibson USA factory in Nashville, Tennessee to pick up her very own Gibson Lzzy Hale Signature Explorer. Read about it here.
