The lineup for this year's Austin City Limits has just been announced, and some of the top names include Kings of Leon, Muse, and Queens of the Stone Age. Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers and Thom Yorke of Radiohead will also make an appearance with "super group" Atoms For Peace. For fans of the eighties, veteran names like The Cure and Depeche Mode are also on the bill.
Austin City Limits will be held over two weekends between October 4-6 and October 11-13 at Zilker Park in Austin, TX. If all goes according to plan, Kings of Leon should have released their sixth studio album the month before ACL takes place. Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill recently told NME: "I thought we were going to make a really mature album but I'm amazed how youthful it sounds. It's like a mix of Youth & Young Manhood and Because Of The Times." Muse are currently touring behind last year's release The 2nd Law, while Queens of the Stone Age are getting ready to release their new album ...Like Clockwork on June 4.
