The men of KISS have booked a special, private concert just for U.S. veterans of the armed forces and current military personnel, and the party happens tonight (July 19) at the Jiffy Lube Live arena in Bristow, Virginia.
KISS have given out more than 2,000 free tickets for the show, and the event is something of a warm-up for when KISS sets off on their upcoming, duel headlining jaunt with Mötley Crüe at the same venue on July 20.
KISS also have joined forces with Hiring Our Heroes, a campaign by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce that serves to get veterans back into the workforce. KISS have enlisted a military veteran as one of their roadies for the upcoming trek, and band co-founder Gene Simmons commented that hiring veterans “is the most important thing that we can do.”
